Perma Vs Skyre - I'd recommend skyre for you because it seems like you want a slightly more challenging (but more interesting) play through. But now i am really looking forward to trying this out :) user info:

Bound Armory - With Perma Sperg Requiem And Skyre Compatibility At Skyrim Nexus - Mods And Community

No delevelling of the world, no standing stones module, no races module, no real enemy ai module.

Perma vs skyre. Perma is compatible with most skyre modules (races, standing stones, enemy ai, enemy scaling, encounter zones). I just like the perks a lot better with perma then i do skyre. Skyrim.it succeeds skyrim redone and drastically improves upon the mechanics and perk trees introduced by skyre.

It is the successor to skyrim redone. These mods are for the most part balanced, but all have different scopes. There are slight differences to specific mechanics, but in general it goes for the same feel/design.

Perma introduces nice features with the use of mastery skills and enchanted arrows, but skyre is more finished and has more compatibility with other fleshed out mods. Not including them gives you more control over whether to use vanilla stuff, use other mods, or to use the version's t3nd0 created for skyre. Similarly to skyre, it overhauls the perks so that they are all useful and all actually have a reason to get them, however the perk trees are much more focused and refined then in skyre, and the trees a lot neater and a lot more interconnected as well.

Preferred skyre myself, skyre seemed to have the more interesting talents. So i really want to keep most of the modules from skyre (specifically the races, standing stones, enemy ai, enemy zones, and enemy scaling). So yeah, what does perma have that skyre didn't?

Like skyre compatibility and reproccer patches (scarp) these patches expect you to have weapon and armor fixes remade (wafr) installed , along with the huge number of fixes made it also corrects many item names, without which many items cannot be properly. Requiem is a completely different game that happens to use the same map as skyrim. Perma is not a difficulty mod,, not a race mod and not a standing stones mod.

For compatibility between skyre and perma, yes and no. Perma did no changes to artifacts so an idea popped up to copy over the artifacts from skyre and this mod was done. Perkus maximus, commonly referred to as perma, is a gameplay overhaul mod for the elder scrolls v:

I will stick with skyre perma's patcher is pathetic takes good amount of time in patching and even after that doesnt patch half of the things correctly i tried it once after waiting for about 12 minutes found out in tes5edit lots and lots of mistakes i had to correct that mistakes manually and it took me 2 hours to actually do that then after some time i got tired of it and decided to stick. I'm going to try out skyre redone this time. This playthrough will be my 1st on pc and ive palyed the ♥♥♥♥ out of it on the 360 before i became i swtiched to the master race and im makeing this a very very very hard playthrough for my self and i wanted to know what the best mod that overhauls the game in.

Necromancer's amulet and sanguine's rose both had a perk from skyre so i left them out. Perma also comes with a. A lot of functions have been moved into the patcher, vastly increasing perma's overall compatibility compared to skyre.

Presidentdoge (topic creator) 6 years ago #9. Perkus maximus (perma) is a gameplay overhaul mod for skyrim by t3nd0. Permazones, combat evolved, skyre’s enemyscaling module, and revenge of the enemies all alter the game settings fleveledactormult.

Darksteel 5 years ago #8. Perma can be downloaded from nexusmods at perkus maximus. They aren't included in perma because these modules still work fine and how they should.

Skyre goes as far as adding new weapon and spell types and tries to make every skill more practical, and also has synergy with frostfall. They are both by the same guy, and he basically says that perma is the better of the two. The load screen ruined my immersion, haha.

Which skyre modules can, theoretically, work with perma? However from what i've seen it covers a lot less then skyre. Sperg is considered more lightweight and is strongly suggested if you want to use more smaller mods to help balance your game.

Report any bugs you find, ty. Perma (and skyre, which imo is better than perma) are improved and refined versions of vanilla skyrim. I tried requiem in my 2013 playthrough.

Perma seems to make the perks more focused on class and specialsation and are a lot more neatly arrange to fit with various abilities, while i found skyres perk trees very messy and too focused on having a perk for everything. Just din't suit me, was too hard and punishing for me. I know that perkus maximus is the successor of skyre.

The bloating in skyre and perma was significant after a while, that's why i primarily stuck with sperg. I have played skyre and perma. It was released on 11/11/14 (the three year anniversary of the original release of skyrim.

However, after installing those specific modules, i would need to run reproccer (because i have immersive armors, etc), and also use the unofficial skyrim redone patch. The few losses that there are is intended for much better compatibility. Same position as you, i've gone with perma, i really like skyre so it was the natural evolution.

Better perk trees, more modularity, fluffy perk descriptions, and less total game coverage. I would agree, but make sure you follow the directions to the letter (setting up the patcher can be annoying), and get the perkus maximus perk defluffer so you know what is actually going on when you level up. Combat evolved’s settings are slightly tougher than skyre’s and permazones’s settings are slightly tougher still, so load the one you prefer later.

Perma is very much a fixed skyre, as skyre is broken as all hell under the hood. While i know that skyre and perma share a lot of the same feature, made by the same person so its only logical. So it needs more extra mods.

Skyre changes perks, combat, racial abilities, standing stones, and leveling systems. Perma is supposed to be a better version of skyre.
